…and so it begins

The first batch of plants, from IKEA were these four:

Cacti don’t need much light or water right? I would later learn this is a Mammillaria, or nipple cactus, likely kawinskiana, but maybe nejapensis, zeilmanniana, or spinosissima, whose name is Roger



Succulent I would later learn is called echeveria

One of the two pothos plants after doing that thing I shouldn’t do where you mist the leaves. I wiped them off. This may be the one that’s now sitting on my desk at work. There were two that day. Also, there is a $200 bill in the picture, worth about USD$6.

And that’s how innocuously things like this can start.
